lmar Willebrand is the Chief Executive Officer and Shareholder of AccuMeda Holding and ACURA Kliniken, a German private hospital group operating several acute and rehab clinics, a Medical Care Centre (MCC), a day-care-unit, a nursing home, a four star hotel, a medical fitness training center and the sole German mine licensed for medical radon therapy. AccuMeda Holding is an investment company specializing in the acquisition and restructuring in the health care sector in Germany. More than 2.000 employees work for portfolio companies generating a gross revenue of over 90 mill. Eur. Prior to this, Mr. Willebrand worked for over 15 years for the Asklepios Group, most recently as the Chief Executive Officer. Asklepios is a privately held hospital group operating more than 100 hospitals mainly based in Germany. Under his leadership, the hospital grew from 18 entities with 300 mill. Eur. gross revenue to over 100 hospitals in Germany, USA and Greece with more than 35.000 employees and a gross revenue exceeding 2.4 billion EUR. Earlier in his career, he worked as Lawyer with PVW, an international law firm in Frankfurt am Main, meanwhile merged with Clifford Chance, and RWE, a major engineering company. Mr. Willebrand has authored several publications and is a regular speaker at seminars, congresses, TV and radio interviews. Recently he published the 30th edition of a periodical book on the topic of health care management and acquisition. He holds lectures at Cardiff University (UK) in "Healthcare and Ethics" and is a member of the pro-bono organization "Stiftung Weserbergland Klinik", supports child aid projects in Mali and Nicaragua. He has extensive experience in hospital privatization with more than 80 successful acquisitions. Mr. Willebrand studied Law in Muenster, Speyer and Houston, Texas. He speaks German, English and French.
